Museums in Sifnos:
Archaeological museum: In Castro there is an Archaeological museum with an exhibition of a collection of archaic and Hellenistic sculptures. It was renovated by the Ministry of Culture at the beginning of the 1980's and has been operating regularly since 1986.
Folklore and local art museum: In Apollonia (in the main square, the Heroon square) there is a folklore museum owned by the Association of Sifnian people, including exhibits of the island's everyday traditional life, such as agricultural tools, house utensils, local costumes etc.
Museum of ecclesiastic art: It is located in the Monastery of Vrisiani. Its space includes manuscripts, sheepskin with codes, old edition documents, a Gospel of 1796, shrines, cherubim, sacred utensils, sacerdotal vestments, icons, Cassiani's hand-woven dress etc.
