Lesvos Beaches:
Mytilene: The beach at the town of Mytilene is a beautiful sandy beach with clear blue waters.
Molyvos: The town beach at Molyvos is not bad as town beaches go. The sea is usually calm and clear. The view of the castle is great from the beach. There are free showers and changing rooms available in the area.
Vatera: The endless beach at Vatera is over seven kilometres long and is one of the most impressive of the Greek islands.
Skala Eressos: The beach itself received the blue flag award from the European Council of the Environment as the cleanest and best cared beach in Greece.
Agios Hermogenes: Agios Hermogenes located 23 km from Mytilini. It is a picturesque bay near the entrance to the Gulf of Gera, noted for its natural beauty and purity of the waters.
Petra: The Petra has a wonderful beach. The sandy beach stretching 3 km in length and the crystal clear waters ideal for swimming and water sports. It is an organized beach that gives swimmers all modern amenities and there is adequate infrastructure for water sports and games.
Agios Isidore: The beach "Agios Isidore is located two kilometers from the center of the east Plomariou going to Mytilini.
Ammoudeli: The beach "Ammoudeli is located 300 meters from the main square of Plomari westward on the road to Melinda.
Melinda: The beach is Melinta 6 km west of Plomari. You will find restaurants and stands 3-4, the big rock on the beach.
Agios Stefanos: 33 km north of Mytilene. This is a large cove close to Mandamados village, on the north eastern side of Lesvos.
Anaxos: 60 km north west of Mytilene. Anaxos is a lovely beach resort on the northern side of Lesvos. It is a calm, family resort with a fine, sandy beach in front.
