Kerkyra - Corfu Beaches:
Paleokastritsa: Paleokastritsa located 26 kilometres northwest of Corfu Town. Palaiokastritsa is the name of the most famous picturesque village of the island of Corfu with also a beautiful beach.
Agios Gordis: Just below the centre of the west coast of the island . The beach of Agios Gordios is one of the most popular beaches in Corfu; the sandy beach is surrounded by impressive and magnanimous rocky formations.
Agios Stefanos: Agios Stefanos located 45 kilometres north-west of Corfu Town. The beautiful sandy beach is considered to be one of the safest beaches of the island, protected from the winds.
Myrtiotissa: Myrtiotissa located west coast, near Pelekas. The beach owns its name to the beautiful Monastery of Myriotissa which is located just above it. It is an unorganised beach, totally unspoiled and unofficially nudist.
Barbati: West of the island, directly opposite Corfu. The beach is at the bottom of a very steep rock face and indeed there is even a cable car which takes hotel residents up and down.
Glyfada: West coast of the island, near Pelekas. One of the most popular beaches of the island, Glyfada is located 16 kilometres west of Corfu Town. The large surface of fine sand is surrounded by trees-covered cliffs
Kalami: 30 kilometres north of Corfu Town. The wide beach of Kalami is composed by smooth flat stones and inspired the English author Lawrence Darrell for his novel "Prosper's cell".
Agios Georgios: 30 km north of Corfu. This is a large bay with sandy shore and clean water. It is located on the north western side of the island.
Arilas: 35 kilometres North from Corfu Town. The long sandy beach of Arrilas is lying between two small peninsulas that are protecting it from the winds.
